Winding down the holiday weekend

After deciding to stay in town for the weekend we kept ourselves busy with lots of house chores and some much needed shopping! One of my best friends is getting married (my maid of honor Robyn) and she finally got her wedding website up and running. I'm very fortunate to be a part of the big event this summer!

All in all, it was very relaxing weekend filled with dinner with friends, a little wine tasting, a little put-put golf, and all around good fun!

The happiest delivery...

Not sure if everyone knew but a few weeks ago we had the unfortunate event of water leakage in our living room due to the billion of buckets of rain that fell on top of our house. Because of that we had to get rid of our old couches and replace them. New ones came on Saturday but as Goldie Lox would say, it's just too big! On Sunday we went back and ordered new ones to exchange the giant sized ones we just got. Today we got the new ones and they fit just right! Even all the little ones (cat and the two dogs) joined us watching a little TV and relaxing on our new sofas!

A "Giant" weekend...

This weekend was just filled with lots to do. Most of it happened on Sunday. On top of a stellar SuperBowl, I ended up running my tenth 1/2 marathon in horrendous weather conditions.

We had some issues with the weather and our house, but we should start getting everything fixed and have our living room look as good as new soon.
